On June 18, King & Bay attended the 2018 Curve Ball Gala in support of the Jays Care Foundation at the Rogers Centre in downtown Toronto. It was a sensational event, and we were honoured to offer a very unique fan experience for the Silent Auction.
As the winning bidder Michael O'Rourke – a lifelong fan of the Blue Jays who has attended the Curve Ball Gala for the last few years – won both a stunning custom smoking jacket, with a limited edition Lloyd Moseby lining... plus dinner with the Hall of Famer in our King & Bay lounge.
After meeting with Master Clothier Aashif Jamani for the initial fittings of his custom smoking jacket, Michael and his guest joined Lloyd Moseby for a private event at King & Bay.
Dinner and beverages were served overlooking downtown Toronto from our stunning lounge on the 25th Floor of Brookfield place in Toronto. Stories were shared... and both Michael and Lloyd were thrilled with the exclusive Moseby-themed lining in their custom smoking jackets.
For Michael O'Rourke, it was an event of a lifetime – a story that will be told for years!
