There's an army of individuals and organizations throughout the Toronto GTA focused on one thing: helping flatten the curve on COVID-19 spread.
Canada's Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam offered advice suggesting it would be helpful for everyone to wear a non-medical face mask when shopping or using public transit.
The good news is that efforts are streamlining and making it easier for individuals, businesses and sewing groups to create masks and get them to the people who most need them.
At King & Bay, we are finding that one conversation leads to another... and another... and we're working daily to help strengthen the network of face mask production and distribution.
Through the King & Bay Mission2Mask Initiative (#SOYBFaceMaskChallenge) you can:
- Purchase and donate face masks.
- Learn how to make a face mask from materials you have at home.
- Read the stories about how people are raising to the challenge.
