The East Toronto Community Steps Up

The East Toronto community is very closely connected to the Michal Garron Hospital – and the hospital has experienced an outpouring of donations of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Many local sewing circles – as well as individuals – are very excited about being able to contribute to this campaign.

King & Bay Joins In

King & Bay Give Back with Face MasksIt's the perfect fit! King & Bay is excited to donate face masks created as part of our #SOYBFaceMaskChallenge to Michael Garron Hospital Foundation.

The face masks will not be worn by health care workers who are required to wear certified masks. Rather they will be provided to:

  • All approved visitors who enter Michael Garron Hospital
  • All of our discharged patients as they reintegrate into the community
  • Members of the broader east Toronto community to help prevent disease transmission

We're honoured to be part of a movement of individuals, organizations and businesses doing what they can during these unprecedented times.
